Osceola Fire and Rescue provides protection to 90 square miles of the Osceola Rural Fire District along with the City of Osceola. The Osceola Fire Department is made up of 32 professional volunteer members that staff 6 pieces of fire apparatus and also a 118' ladder truck shared by the Stromsburg and Polk Fire Department making up PSO Truck Company One . They provide all different types of services including vegetation and structure fire, automobile extrication's and storm watch and other natural disasters along with fire prevention programs.
